Each of our embossed rolling pins starts with a piece of natural beech wood. We lovingly carve each piece of wood into shape before using a high-precision laser to carefully engrave the detailed decorative pattern onto the rolling pin.

Once that process is complete, we wash and dry the rolling pin to remove any wood particles from the engraving process. Lastly, we carefully inspect each rolling pin to ensure top quality before applying a coat of natural, food-safe oil (olive oil) by hand to seal and preserve the wood. 

Absolutely. All of our rolling pins are made from 100% pure high-grade solid beech wood and are 100% food-safe and free of BPA or any other toxic preservatives. This makes our rolling pins unique, as various other sellers (especially those on Amazon and Etsy) sell rolling pins that are cheaply manufactured with lesser grade wood or with toxic glue or wood preservatives. 

We have worked hard to ensure that our rolling pins are sourced from the highest-quality beech wood, and we pay meticulous attention to every detail at each stage of production. As a result, our rolling pins are heirloom-quality and will last a lifetime.

Using our embossed rolling pins is easy and fun! 

Roll your dough out using a regular (flat) rolling pin. Once that is done, roll the embossed rolling pin once over your dough with medium pressure. 

The indentations in the rolling pin will create a beautiful pattern on your dough. 

During baking, the indentations will transform into crisp, golden patterns that look beautiful and delicious. You can also use your pin on fondant to make a finished cake look as though it was made at a bakery. It’s as easy as that!

For best embossing results when baking, do not use recipes with any leavener or acid.

It is very easy to clean your rolling pin after use. 

In most cases, you can easily clean the rolling pin by using a dry brush (without water) in order to remove any bits of stuck-on dough. 

If needed, add water and soap to the brush, and dry well before using again. Do not put the rolling pin in the dishwasher and avoid any prolonged contact with water.

All rolling pins are 17.5 inches in length (including the handles), which is the traditional size of rolling pins. The patterned portion of the rolling pin (excluding the handles) is 9.5 inches in length. This size produces a large engraving pattern making it very versatile for all your baking needs. The rolling pin is 2 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 10 ounces.

All of our products are safely sealed in plastic wrap and then shipped and sealed in a bubble mailer or shipping carton. Because our products are individually sealed, none of our products are ever touched by shipping or delivery staff. Items are shipped from our warehouse in the USA that is cleaned and sanitized daily.

As noted in our Shipping Policy, all international orders (outside of the USA) may be subject to customs fees and inspection in the destination country which may result in a charge beyond our control. Please check with your local customs office before ordering to determine if there are any additional costs.
